  • Verify the Name: Compare the name on the Zippey ID badge to a valid government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license or passport) presented by the member. This ensures the person you're interacting with is the registered Zippey partner.
  • Tap or Scan for Instant Verification: Our Zippey ID badges are equipped with technology that allows for quick verification. Simply tap the badge with your NFC-enabled smartphone or scan the QR code on the badge using a dedicated Zippey app (if available) or a standard QR code reader. This will instantly confirm the member's status as a legitimate Zippey partner.
Am I covered by the Google Guarantee?

The Google Guarantee provides financial protection if you're not satisfied with the quality of services you received from a provider you hired through a Google Local Services ad. It's important to understand that coverage applies specifically when:

  • You found and contacted the Zippey partner directly through a Google Local Services ad. This means you saw their listing with the Google Guarantee badge and initiated contact by clicking the "Contact" button or calling the phone number listed on that specific ad.
  • The service in question was booked and completed by that Zippey partner.
  • You submit a claim to Google within a specific timeframe (typically 30 days of the service completion). Be sure to keep records of your communication and any documentation related to the service.

Coverage generally does not apply if:

  • You contacted the Zippey partner through other means (e.g., directly through their website, Google business profile, a referral, or a social media platform).
  • The service was not booked or completed.
  • Your dissatisfaction relates to price or responsiveness, rather than the quality of the completed service.
